The Checkendon Newsletter is published at the beginning of each month and aims to give information and news about local people and the village organisations, such as Church, School, Parish Council and clubs, as well as details of forthcoming events, both within the parish and further afield.  It does not carry advertisements.

Now in its 50th year, it is produced and delivered locally by a team of volunteers.  Individual copies may be purchased in the Checkendon Post Office Stores or obtained from the Church.  Copies can also be sent by post or email.

The Newsletter prints a Village Directory, updated annually and published with the September edition of the Newsletter, giving contact details of organisations and local services.
